Our Team

The Founders

Kin Gymnastics was founded by Shelley Rogers, a dynamic serial entrepreneur and devoted gymnastics mom, alongside her longtime business partner and creative collaborator, Robbert Touw. With a shared passion for building purposeful, results-driven ventures, Kin marks their fifth entrepreneurial endeavor — and their exciting first step into the world of gymnastics.

Driven by Shelley’s personal connection to the sport and Robbert’s innovative mindset, the pair set out to create a space where young athletes could thrive, families could feel at home, and a love for both mental and physical excellence could grow. Their vision for Kin goes beyond the gym floor — it’s about cultivating a supportive environment where athletes, coaches, and families form strong, lasting bonds. True to the name “Kin,” this club was built on the belief that sport should feel like family.

WAG Competitive Program

Coaching Team

Led by our experienced and passionate Head Coach, our Women’s Artistic Gymnastics competitive coaching team is dedicated to helping each athlete unlock their full potential — both as gymnasts and as individuals. While competitive success and podium finishes are celebrated goals, our true measure of achievement lies in the personal growth, confidence, and resilience our athletes develop along the way.

We believe that high-level gymnastics can thrive in an environment rooted in trust, encouragement, and mutual respect. That’s why we foster a strong sense of family and belonging within our team. Each athlete is valued not just for their skills, but for the unique energy and spirit they bring to the gym.

With a coaching philosophy grounded in technical excellence, long-term athlete development, and unwavering support, our team works collaboratively to guide every gymnast toward their personal best. We strive to create a training culture where athletes feel empowered, motivated, and proud of their journey — every step, every skill, every season.

Recreational Gymnastics Program

Coaching Team

Our Recreational Coaching Team plays a vital role in sparking a lifelong love for movement, fitness, and fun. We are passionate about creating a positive, inclusive space where every child — whether they’re just starting out or building on growing skills — feels supported, seen, and celebrated.

Our coaches are often former or current competitive athletes themselves and are more than instructors; they are mentors and motivators who guide young athletes in developing essential physical skills like agility, balance, coordination, and flexibility, while also nurturing important life skills such as confidence, focus, and resilience. Through thoughtfully structured classes and playful, engaging activities, we help each gymnast discover what they’re capable of — at their own pace and in their own way.

Safety, encouragement, and joy are at the heart of everything we do. Whether an athlete dreams of progressing to competitive gymnastics or simply wants to build strength and self-esteem, our recreational team is committed to making each experience meaningful, empowering, and, above all, fun.
